I help organisations of the future understand the present and organisations of the present understand the future.
I am now applying this logic ...or lack thereof to people living with Cancer...and those who want to avoid the opportunity to become a Cancer Survivor or even better a Cancer Thriver.
I have worked with and for entrepreneurs and innovators most of my life, building National and Multi-National Businesses and along the way helped raise three daughters, built communities and coached, managed and mentored Commonwealth Games and Olympic Medalists in Track and Field.
Most recently I have focused on supporting those that aspire to be an Entrepreneurs at University of Adelaide's ThincLab, Carnegie Mellon University Aust and Flinders Univeresity's New Ventures Institute..
This has seen the founding of two Not For Profit Communities - Innovation in the City and Founders In The City to help drive the focus and cause of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in South Australia.
My introduction to what I now know as entrepreneurship was in the late seventies. Working for John Neller who started a Software company to service the unmet needs of large Australian business in the area of Payroll and HR.
In the late 1990s I moved from senior international roles in IT (Computer Software) to set up a Sports, Celebrity and Event Marketing Agency then into Marketing and Media Consultancy.
I am now a Founder and Ring Master at See Global Media Singapore which operates in the IPTV and Digital Signage area in China and Asia working closely with the world’s biggest brands and their advisors.
With my then business partner (and daughter) Nikki, I co-authored the Grumpy Old Managers Guide to Social Media in 2009.
Over the past three years I have been a very active mentor within the Flinders University New
Ventures Institute and University of Adelaide’s ThincLab to assist up and coming young South Australian’s wanting to access international markets.
I have also worked with Carnegie Mellon University locally to assist recent Masters Graduates and Students from all over the world develop their ideas into real businesses and assist them to build for the world from Adelaide.
As a proud native of South Australian, I am very keen to assist in growing the local economy by helping SA businesses find their way in Asia and bring Asian investment into SA.
I have presented as a keynote speaker on a wide range of business, technology and media topics in various parts of the world ...and love it.

I plan to share my cancer journey - sharing all I have learned and all I have found that works for m.
Most of the things I share also apply to helping prevent cancer through diet, exercise and various forms of complimentary medicine.

But as I have said all along my best advice is to build a team of trusted advisors that can you can discuss with and validate all the things you are doing. Friends, family, colleagues etc are all important and all supply lots of information and ideas to help which I act on if it all adds up and is in line with advice I am getting from my team of specialists

After ignoring all the signs and symptoms for years ... I am a bloke afterall.... I was surprisingly diagnosed with very advanced (10 out of 10 on the Gleason Scale) case of Prostate Cancer in February 2019.
After all the initial tears and fears and sharing with loved ones ... and thinking woe is me why me etc etc ... I decided I always wanted to have Cancer Survivor on my resume ...and this has become my mantra whenever people start to feel sorry for me. And lead me to this very public journey where I hope that I can help others as I learn!!
I have recently upgraded my ambition ...as you do... and now plan to be a
Cancer Thriver.
